Description

Meet your driver for 2 hours drive by the foothills of the Middle Atlas Ranges.  About a half-hour later, we will pass by a French station built on the hills Immouzèr du Kandar. A small demolished kasbah of the Aït Seghrouchen landed on the side of the Saïss Plateau. There we will stop for a few minutes to explore the still-occupied troglodyte homes before proceeding for some 500 yards up along a tiny road into evergreen holm tree to the freshwater lake of the Dayèt Aaoua.
We proceed to Ifrane, where we will stop for a light lunch and short visit of the town, known with its russet-tiled roofs hidden amidst a forest of cedar. We, then, make our way up beside the edge of the Cedar Forest to Azrou and its massive outcrop mosque.
If you are lucky enough, you will be programming this tour on Tuesdays. There is a souk in the area where the Beni M’Guild tribes come to trade their intricate carpets.
We shall take a short stroll over this beautiful region before returning to Fes.
